Miri Lab Publication Earns Cover of Cell Reports

The Miri Lab study "Motor cortical influence relies on task-specific activity covariation" was recently featured on the cover of Cell Reports Volume 40, Number 13. The work reveals that layer 5b motor cortical neurons are not organized by task-specific activity, they do not encode muscle activity consistently across tasks, and that task-specific muscle activity may be driven instead by distinct output activity covariation.
