NITMB Awards Grant to New Professors Fink and Fitzgerald

The newly-formed National Institute for Theory in Mathematics and Biology (NITMB) recently awarded one of the organization's first ever grants to two of the newest Northwestern Neurobiology faculty members, Andrew Fink and James Fitzgerald, who are collaborating to study olfactory representations in the Piriform cortex.
The Institute is hosted at Northwestern, and is funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation and the Simons Foundation. This is an extremely exciting achievement for our professors! Read more about the grant here.
