Klein Lab Spotlighted by the Chicago Biomedical Consortium
The Chicago Biomedical Consortium (CBC) highlighted Professor William Klein’s recent PLoS One publication in their current news. The CBC is a Chicago based group whose mission is to stimulate collaboration among scientists at Northwestern University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Chicago to transform research at the frontiers of biomedicine. The article, Science Spotlight: Synaptic Membrane Nanodiscs May Help Find Alzheimer’s Disease Therapeutics, highlights Professor Klein’s recent publication in the journal, PLoS One. The results provide proof of concept for using SMPL-Nanodiscs in HTS assays for AβO receptors and binding antagonists.
