Professor Kozorovitskiy Awarded Prestigious Sloan Research Fellowship
Neurobiology Professor Genia Kozorovitskiy was one of four Northwestern professors to be awarded prestigious Sloan Research Fellowship for 2016. Professor Kozorovitskiy was selected as a Sloan Research Fellow in Neuroscience. She studies how the brain’s neural circuitry develops focusing on decoding neuromodulation and neural circuit design principles. The Sloan Research Fellowships have been awarded annually since 1955, honoring early-career scientists and scholars whose achievements and potential identify them as rising stars, the next generation of scientific leaders.
