Professor Klein gives optimistic news towards curing Alzheimer's

Earlier this month, The Merion senior living community in downtown Evanston invited one of the world's preeminent Alzheimer's scholars to share good news about a terrible disease. Addressing an audience of Chicagoland residents in The Merion's stunning Crystal Ballroom, 40-year Northwestern University neurobiology professor Dr. William Klein attested that the story of Alzheimer's disease is an increasingly optimistic one. "Terrific progress is being made toward making Alzheimer's just a memory," said Klein, head of the distinguished Klein Laboratory at Northwestern's Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.
