Program Resources

The following resources and forms are essential for our students. Please review the below documents carefully and refer to them for information on finding an advisor,  defending your thesis, applying to graduate, and more.

Program handbook

The Neurobiology Program handbook is a great resource for new, current, and prospective students. You can refer to this document for detailed information on TGS policies, onboarding procedures for new students, MS degree requirements, choosing an advisor, program course requirements and registration procedures, completing your thesis, preparing to graduate, and more.

Milestone forms

All students must submit the Student Advisor Agreement Form, which indicates their selected advisor; the Thesis Proposal Approval Form, which is submitted with the student's approved thesis project information following their first committee meeting; and the Thesis Defense Approval Form, which indicates the student has successfully defended their thesis project.

Thesis defense and graduation resources

Below are resources that are useful for students close to defending their thesis and graduating the program. The Thesis Defense Checklist provides a step-by-step checklist of what students need to do to defend their thesis, apply to graduate, and receive their degree. The Thesis Format Guidelines outlines the specific format guidelines for all thesis projects.
